3 strong victories over the weekend

This weekend we were blessed with Sunshine, and we had all three seniors teams in action. Plus a very well-attended VPs lunch meaning there was much useful advice given to the 1s.

This clearly contributed to the performance, as the 1s romped to a 58-12 win over Burnhan-on-Sea. Even more excitingly, some of the plays and patterns that new Head Coach Belly has been working on were on display - to great joy (and some surprise) to all. This puts us in the top half of the table, and we're hoping to continue the run of wins as we take on Bridgewater and Albion at home this coming week.

Away from home, the OBs IIs beat Clifton IIIs 31-24, in a satisfying win which puts us above them in the league table. After a tough start to the year in terms of availability (weddings and stag dos...) we're now back in the groove.

Last but not least, a veritably legendary and venerable set of (mainly) vets legends ran out against Bishopston after we were awarded a Home Walk Over against Frampton who sadly couldn't raise a side. A fine game played in good spirits - fortunate as many of the OBs players were still digesting their VP lunches. Another win: 21-14

At a time where many clubs are struggling to raise even side, it's testament to the hard work of all the guys on and off the pitch that OBs is able to put out 3 strong sides on a weekend.
