As such all adults working with children at Old Bristolians are DBS checked. The club presently has over 50 coaches, helpers and administrators with enhanced DBS checks.

The Club Safeguarding Officer is Rich Berry, as well as being an ex-Headteacher, with a wealth of Safeguarding experience, Rich has also completed the RFU's Club Safeguarding & Welfare Officers training, acts as the Bristol Bears Safeguarding Lead.
